Where It Started

When we met Louise Henricot, founder of romarin uniforms, it was immediately clear we were aligned. Her studio crafts premium, custom-made hospitality uniforms with an uncompromising eye for quality and identity. We develop NOOSA® PLA – a circular textile fiber, 100% recyclable, designed to be integrated into any textile.

Both Brussels-based, both convinced that high-performance workwear and sustainability are not a trade-off. The collaboration was a natural next step.

From Fiber to Prototype

Rather than jumping straight into a collection, we started with a few meters of NOOSA® PLA fabric and invited Louise to explore. She worked with the material through the real demands of hospitality workwear – movement, repeated washing, long shifts – and developed a series of prototypes that are unmistakably romarin uniforms: refined, durable, and purpose-built.

Proving the Loop

Once the prototypes had served their purpose, we recycled them. Completely. The NOOSA® PLA fiber was fully recovered and ready to re-enter production.

This is the step most sustainability claims never reach. We didn’t describe circularity as a future ambition – we demonstrated it, from design to wear to recovery and back again.

Why Hospitality

Workwear is where NOOSA® PLA makes the most sense. Performance requirements are high, and uniform replacement is already a structured, recurring process – which means the infrastructure for closed-loop recovery is already partially in place.

For hospitality businesses, this is a meaningful shift: uniforms that perform at the highest level, and whose end of life is a resource to recover rather than a cost to absorb.
