One designer. Three mono-materials. A collection built for the full circle.

Designer Jeakyong Sim chose NOOSA® fiber for his Design Academy NOVA collection, alongside Cloudwool and Circulose. Three mono-materials, each selected with one purpose: to facilitate future recycling and regeneration. A white jacket in Cloudwool, a loose T-shirt in Circulose, and a wrap skirt in NOOSA® fiber.

His philosophy is clear: “If it looks good and feels good, you will wear it, you will love it and you will keep it.” Longevity and circularity, by design intent. Not as an afterthought.

Design Academy NOVA, hosted by VORN — The Berlin Fashion Hub and Zalando, brought together 100 emerging designers from across Europe to experiment with material innovation. After an eight-week programme, a panel of experts selected 10 finalists to present their collections at Berlin Fashion Week. Jeakyong was one of them.

NOOSA® collaborated with Design Academy NOVA as a material contributor, making our 100% bio-based, 100% recyclable fiber available to designers as a creative resource. Jeakyong’s collection is exactly what that looks like in practice.
