We are looking for a Business Developer to help NOOSA™ grow together. We are giving you the opportunity to take up an incredible challenge in a young and dynamic environment! It requires motivation, energy only & Fluency in English. The position is based in Brussels.

 

NOOSA™ is a material science company dedicated to creating a textile industry free from fossil fuels. Established in 2019, we have the ambition to revolutionize the textile industry by making it circular. Our mission is to reduce textile waste on a global scale by redesigning the textile industry’s global value chain. The first step towards realising this mission is introducing our bio-based textile fiber and facilitate its collection to recycle it at 100% thanks to our patented technology NOOCYCLE™.

 

Your Mission

 

This is an opportunity to join the Sales team of NOOSA™ with the key role of hacking growth. You will be responsible to create long-term, value-based partnerships with textile brands, sorters and institutions, looking to enter the circular economy. You will drive growth by supporting the adoption of NOOSA™ fiber, guide and support potential customers through their circular transition journey.

 

In practice, you will have to do much more than that to ensure the development of the market is successful. You will be part of a young start-up environment, directly reporting to the founders and at the same time having a strong force of proposition and learning from other teams.

 

  •  You will identify potential leads and opportunities, create your plan of action and have full ownership of it. Find opportunities for improvement in all activities you do by being data driven to the bone, test new initiatives and show they work efficiently.
  • You are a natural born communicator, you have an innate talent for connecting with people and you quickly understand how to effectively communicate NOOSA’s value proposition to a very diverse audience of potential users. You are a killer at pitching, convincing and convert leads into engaged users.
  • Lead strategic meetings to gather information on the customer and be able to identify the right value proposition for them. Build business cases to prepare future off-take and pricing negotiations throughout the client onboarding process (product development).
  • Work closely with the technical team for optimized product development, debunking problems and present market insights. You have a strong ability to learn & show curiosity towards textile and clean technologies.

 

The Ideal Candidate

 

  •  Business Developer: you have a proven record of value-based sales. You are comfortable with product launch and innovation. Experience in sustainability, textile industry or product development is a plus.
  • Driven to have an impact: you are hungry to give your hardest effort and your best energies into building a truly successful global business. You are ready to do whatever it takes to grow NOOSA’s customer base. You are able to manage long sales cycles without fainting.
  • Take initiatives: we are building a truly global business at NOOSA but we are still just a startup. Life at NOOSA is a rollercoaster since things are moving fast and we are looking for individuals who can prioritise and get things done in such an environment.
  • Project Management: You bring a strategic reflexion by analyzing the environment through business cases, data analysis and you’re a killer at organization/planning a project from A to Z.
  • You are adaptable and resilient: and you can put yourself in the shoes of a large workwear group but also a carpet manufacturer as well as a niche fashion designer. You are adaptable to a very diverse team.
  • You navigate through Microsoft Office (Excel) and CRM tools. Experience with Odoo and Sales tools is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and one additional language (Portuguese, German, Spanish, Italian and Chinese are a plus).
  • You are open to travel. Driving license is required.
