We are NOOSA™
At NOOSA™, we have the ambition to revolutionize the textile industry by making it circular. Our mission is to reduce textile waste on a global scale by redesigning the textile industry’s global value chain. We believe we need a shift in the way we consume and produce textiles, and we are a tangible solution to drive the change.
Who are we?
NOOSA™ is a Belgian company established in 2019. Our headquarters are in Brussels, where most of our activities take place: from Research & Development to commercial activities and from fiber extrusion at pilot scale to its recycling.
NOOSA™ focuses on two primary areas of activity: the production of a bio-based textile fiber and its recycling. After production, we supply our bio-based fiber and yarn to brands and manufacturers, who process it into a wide range of end-products. However, our commitment doesn’t end there.
Through our NOOCYCLE™ recycling program, we provide a solution to the textile industry to revalorize textile waste at post-industrial, pre- and post-consumer level by extruding our NOOSA™ fiber and fully recycling it into a virgin-quality fiber.

2020
NOOSA™ closes its first funding round, to generate the first version of its product and hire the first employees.
2021
NOOSA™ is awarded the Innovative Starters Award of 500.000€ from Innoviris (Brussels government).
2022
NOOSA™ starts product development with major textile brands and exhibit at international textile fairs.
2023
NOOSA™ receives the B Corp accreditation.
2024
NOOSA™ establishes its fiber extrusion pilot line in Brussels, Belgium.

Kiliane Fox
Business support & Administration
Kiliane’s passion for recyclable textiles led her to NOOSA™. With experience in business support, massage therapy, yoga, diving—basically, you name it, she’s done it—she brings a unique skill set to optimize workflows and foster collaboration, to help NOOSA™ scale its global impact
Luna Aslan
Co-Founder & General Project Manager
Bringing NOOSA™ from a dream to reality, Luna put into practice her management studies to build NOOSA™ from scratch. She loves to engage in fulfilling and empowering projects, ranging from creative crafts to athletic challenges.
Emmanuelle Poulain
R&D Textile Manager
As a Textile Engineer, Emmanuelle has worked almost 10 years in quality and regulatory for major fashion companies. She is bringing her textile knowledge to NOOSA™ with the aim to clearly reduce the impact of the industry on the planet. When not at NOOSA™, Emmanuelle spends her time with her family most likely somewhere between Belgium, France and England !
Niccoló Aldeghi
R&D Engineer
Chemist and biobased material scientist, Niccolò joined NOOSA™ in 2022. He has valuable experience on the upstream spinning of biopolymers, to produce fibers and filaments; as well as the downstream recycling of NOOSA™ fiber to close the loop. He has a strong motivation to see a substantial transition to bio-sourced and recyclable materials, which is the main reason why he was excited to join NOOSA™.
Gabriel Mabille
Ph.D. Researcher
Chemical and material science engineer, Gabriel is a PhD. researcher focusing on bringing NOOSA™ fiber to the next level. Gabriel is an expert in polymer blending and processing and masters most of the material transformation and characterization techniques. Once home, Gabriel drops biopolymers for his favorite plastic Lego pieces to build intergalactic spaceships. Lover of the countryside, he enjoys bike rides, the mountain and team sports.
Jim Hees
Business Manager
Passionate about sports and adventure, Jim is always seeking new challenges. With solid experience in business development gained within two startups, he joined NOOSA™ because this project aligns with his values, and he is confident in his ability to bring the expertise and energy needed to take it to new heights.
Robin Clerbois
Operations Manager
A challenge enthusiast, Robin joined NOOSA™ from prior roles where he led projects combining entrepreneurship and societal value to scale-up. When not working at NOOSA™, you can catch Robin practicing sports, biting exotic food or pursuing fresh adventures.
Dylan Molina Ward
Marketing Intern
As a recent graduate in Digital Media studies, with a special interest in the fashion industry, Dylan joined NOOSA™ as a marketing intern. He applies his academic knowledge and professional experience in previous start-ups to work on the online presence of NOOSA™. When not at work, Dylan can be found at the gym or watching a classic movie with some friends.
Justine Verburgh
Business Developer
As a recent graduate in Environmental Science and Management with an interest in textiles and their impact on current environmental issues, Justine joined NOOSA™ as a Business Developer in the Sales department. When not at the office, you can find Justine exploring every corner of the world with her backpack.
Lou Curty
R&D Textile Engineer
A textile engineer in R&D, Lou’s curiosity and attraction to sustainable fashion led her to get involved with NOOSA™. In her spare time, she kitesurf, goes out with friends and bargains for second-hand clothe pieces!
